Give an account, in English and in your own words, of text 1 and then of text 2.
In your account of text 1:
a. identify the nature of the text;
b. sum up what we learn about the life of Chris McCandless;
c. give and explain the two different reactions of people concerning McCandless’s story.
In your account of text 2:
a. identify the nature of the text and give its message;
b. identify the feelings of the narrator when he was in the street;
c. sum up the feeling of the narrator when he was in the park and explain the reason for this feeling.
After your accounts of texts 1 and 2, answer the following question:
What are the similarities between the two texts in terms of personal and human experience?
